Biography

Dave previously served in the positions of Research Fellow and Chief Scientific Officer at Dermira, Inc. Prior to its acquisition by Dermira in 2011, Dave was a co-founder and VP Research of Valocor Therapeutics. Previously, he headed preclinical dermatology research at QLT, Inc. employing high-throughput screening, molecular biology, cell signaling-profiling and gene expression methodologies combined with disease-relevant in vivo test systems to identify and characterize the activities of novel small-molecule drug candidates. He has extensive industrial research experience in cellular immunology, inflammation and autoimmunity with an extensive scientific publication record in these areas.
