Biography
Dan Capps (MS 2002) and his wife Krista (SPEA 2002) are in the Peace Corps in Catacamas, Honduras, involved in forestry and environmental education. They appeared on Honduran television, and Dan was also asked to compile a geologic history of Honduras as part of his assignment. Dan gave a workshop for the Guides' Association for the Talgua Caves; they've also had expeditions sighting three-toed sloths and trees full of toucans. A climbing trip to the top of the highest peak (La Picucha) in "their" National Park took them from tropical rain forest at 400 meters, through pine, cloud, and dwarf forests en route to the summit at 2,354 meters.
