Biography
Gerald Schwartz founded Onex Corporation, one of North America’s oldest and largest private equity firms, in 1984. Mr. Schwartz is presently the chairman and chief executive officer of Onex and a director of Celestica Inc. Mr. Schwartz was inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame in 2004 and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2006.
