Biography
François Hébert joined Innergex in 1999 as Vice President, Operations and Maintenance. He was appointed Senior Vice-President Operations and Maintenance in 2011. Mr. Hébert is responsible for the management of the operations and maintenance activities of the Corporation's hydroelectric generating stations in order to optimize their productivity and their lifespan. He is also involved in the design and commissioning of electromechanical equipment for hydroelectric projects under construction. Prior to joining Innergex, Mr. Hébert worked at Alstom for 12 years, where he held increasingly responsible positions, ultimately as the automation coordinator of the electronics department. Mr. Hébert holds a diploma in electronics from the Cégep de Sherbrooke (1986) and a diploma in instrumentation and control from the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal (1987).
