Biography
Jean Trudel joined Innergex in 2002 as Vice President, Corporate Development, and was appointed Vice-President - Finance the following year. He was appointed Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice-President - Communications in May 2011 and then Chief Investment Officer in 2015. Mr. Trudel is responsible for the execution of the Company's investment strategy , which includes optimizing its capital structure, financing projects under development and managing the valuation, trading and financing of potential acquisitions. He is also responsible for the development of the Company internationally. Prior to joining Innergex, Mr. Trudel worked with Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (formerly Clarica) from 1999 to 2002, as Director, Project Finance for Quebec and the Provinces of Quebec, Atlantic. Prior to that, Mr. Trudel spent three years with the Bank of Nova Scotia's corporate banking team. Mr. Trudel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from HEC Montréal (1993) and a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University (1996).
