Biography
Matt Kennedy joined Innergex in 2011 and is responsible for all environmental claims related to the Company's operations, including the monitoring of operating and construction renewable energy facilities, conducting environmental studies and obtaining permits and approvals in support of development projects, as well as the maintenance of good relations with the various stakeholders. Mr. Kennedy worked as Vice-President - Environment at Cloudworks Energy Inc. (prior to his acquisition by Innergex in 2011) and served as Director of Development and Environmental Director (BC) at Canadian Hydro Developers from 2005 to 2010. Prior to his work in the renewable energy industry, Mr. Kennedy worked for more than 10 years as a consultant in aquatic biology. Mr. Kennedy holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario (1995). He is also a professional biologist in British Columbia since 2004.
