Biography
Renaud de Batz joined Innergex in 2002 as project leader. He was appointed Vice President Hydroelectric Development in 2005 and Senior Vice President Hydroelectric Project Management in 2015. Mr. de Batz is responsible for all hydroelectric projects under construction, including managing engineering and construction and coordination of the multidisciplinary teams involved in each stage of the project, from design to commissioning. It is also responsible for identifying and evaluating potential hydroelectric plant projects. Prior to joining Innergex, Mr. de Batz worked at RSW Inc. for more than 12 years, occupying increasingly responsible positions in Canada and overseas, ultimately as a project manager and specialist. Mr. de Batz holds a master's degree in science (geology) from the University of Marseille (1985) and a master's degree in business administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (2003). Mr. de Batz is a member of APEGBC as a professional geoscientist.
