Biography
Heather Herring has spent most of her career in the oil and gas sector. Her expertise includes natural gas processing, oil sands mining, thermal recovery methods and partial upgrading. She was instrumental in securing funding for researchers at the Schulich School of Engineering. She was Manager of Research and Technology Qualification at Total E&P Canada and Manager of Innovation at Laricina. Currently, she coaches technology proponents on the path to commercialization and chairs the Board of TECTERRA.
