Biography
Engineer, ENST, Paris, France Docteur, ENST, Paris, France Professor at the INRS ÉMT since 1998 Professor Affes developed an original technique for receiving radio frequency signals over wireless channels with an innovative interference suppression approach for which Canadian and international patent applications have been filed.
Research Interest
Professor Affes developed an original technique for receiving radio frequency signals over wireless channels with an innovative interference suppression approach for which Canadian and international patent applications have been filed. This new technology currently exists as a software. In the medium term, Professor Affes' research program will validate this technology by making a prototype operational in real time and on-air. In the long term, Professor Affes' team will work to move this technology to fourth generation high-speed wireless systems. Research will focus on the efficient operation of several antennas,
