Research Interest
Professor Benesty's research aims to design multimedia communications systems of the future. They also aim to increase the performance of today's multimedia communications systems such as teleconferencing or tele-education systems, human interfaces -machines, hands-free cell phones in cars and others, developing acoustic algorithms multi-channel signal processing system that fully utilizes human brain hearing capabilities. Several of the algorithms developed by Professor Benesty are currently used in various telecommunication products and prototypes. In addition, he holds fourteen (14) patents for his inventions and has already published four books on multimedia communications systems.
