Biography

Dr. Charles M. Dozois obtained his B.Sc. (Agr.) (1990) in biological sciences from the Faculty of Agriculture at McGill University, his Masters degree (M.Sc., 1993) in veterinary microbiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and his Ph.D. (1995) in Microbiology-Immunology from the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. After studying post-doctoral positions in immunology at the National Institute of Agronomic Research (Toulouse, France) and microbial pathogenesis at Washington University (Saint Louis, MO, USA), he joined INRS -Institut Armand-Frappier as professor. His research focuses on the elucidation of host-pathogen interactions. In particular Dr. Dozois is interested in the identification and characterization of bacterial genes expressed in vivo during the infection of the host and the discovery of new systems that contribute to the virulence of pathogens.

Research Interest
