Research Interest
Professor Drogui's research interests focus on the development and development of new technologies for the elimination of pollutants (inorganic and organic). Among these techniques are electrotechnologies, processes using electrochemical properties and techniques. These techniques can be used effectively to improve existing municipal and industrial wastewater treatment systems or to replace conventional inefficient technologies for the removal of specific inorganic or organic contaminants. The advantage of these techniques lies in their non-polluting appearance and their ease of automation. These characteristics favor the industrial development of processes for decontamination of industrial and urban discharges. At present, there are very few single-step processes capable of simultaneously eliminating toxic inorganic and organic pollutants.
