Research Interest
In physical oceanography, Professor Gratton studies the circulation and mixing processes in estuarine and coastal environments, internal waves and tides, water body adjustment processes and the dynamics of frontal areas. He is also interested in determining the impact of physical processes on organic production and mathematical and statistical modeling (kriging).
