Biography
Mr. Weightman is President of BrokerLink. Since joining the company more than 25 years ago, he has held number of leadership positions in both Canada and the United States. Prior to his current appointment, he was Senior Vice-President, Claims, where he was responsible for delivering an industry leading claims experience to IFC customers. Previously, he was Senior Vice-President, Commercial Lines where he was responsible for the development and delivery of Intact’s commercial lines strategy including underwriting, commercial lines pricing, and product development. Mr. Weightman earned a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Business Education from Illinois State University. He holds a number of professional designations including CPCU, CLU, ChFC and FLMI. He completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2006.
