Biography
As the Director of Finance for JMP Engineering, Gord Cumming is responsible for leading the Finance, IT and Procurement departments. His focus is on strategic planning, budgeting, long term forecasting, and acquisition planning, as well as managing our working capital. Throughout his history at JMP, he has played numerous roles in the Finance Department and have championed two ERP migrations & implementations, incorporated formalized policies & procedures into our processes. After attending the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business, he accepted the position as the C.A.O. of a Registered Charity in Essex County, Ontario, where he learned the values of co-operation & leadership, having to report to and collaborate with a Board of Directors and three levels of Government on a regular basis, and lead people in their growth, leading them to meet self-implemented goals.
