Jie (janet) Yang, P.t.

Biography

Janet is a registered physiotherapy who graduated from Queen’s University. She obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2016 after graduating with Honours from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She is currently a member of the Ontario and Canadian Physiotherapy Associations. Her treatment philosophy revolves around delivering evidence based practice and patient-centered care. She strives to educate her patients in order for them to play an active role and to become fully engaged in their rehabilitation. Janet has developed a keen interest in manual therapy and individualized exercise prescription. She has successfully completed her Level 1 Manual Exam and has recently taken a course on Soft Tissue Release. She believes in lifelong learning and plans to take additional courses in manual therapy, acupuncture and k-taping.
