Biography
Mr. Clayton Brown is Co-Founder of Keycafe Inc. Mr. Brown is responsible for Keycafe's vision, strategy and growth. He was a Principal at Kepis & Pobe. He has experience in the management of oil, gas and wind operations, asset management, corporate finance, and international mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Kepis & Pobe, Mr. Brown worked at McKinsey & Company in Zurich, Switzerland where he specialized in the E&P and financial sectors. He has conducted projects for Global 1,000 companies in the Middle East, Europe and North America, including global IOCs, renewable operators, banks and insurance companies. During the credit crisis, Mr. Brown developed the macroeconomic model governing McKinsey's estimate of global credit losses presented to banks, regulators and financial institutions. His experience also included the structuring and negotiation of a $25 billion mergers and acquisitions deal with sovereign wealth funds. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Brown worked in venture capital at Lux Capital and the mergers and acquisitions group of Lehman Brothers in New York, where he helped transact the $1.4 billion leveraged buyout of Telcordia Technologies, formerly known as Bell Labs. Mr. Brown received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and B.A. in History and B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and won awards for software and algorithm design.
