Biography
When Matthew Friedman was 17, he came to faith in Jesus. A year later, he felt God calling him into full-time ministry. Over the next several years, he ministered in South Asia. After serving in South Asia for a total of 18 years, in 2012, Dr. Friedman became the program director for Intercultural Studies at Oak Hills Christian College. In 2013, he completed his Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. His soon-to-be published dissertation is titled "Union with God in Christ: Early Christian and Wesleyan Spirituality as an Approach to Islamic Mysticism."
