Dr. Arvinder Grover

Biography

Dr. Arvinder Grover received his medical degree from the University of Toronto. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto and his residency in Cardiology at McMaster University. An accomplished and highly qualified cardiologist, Dr. Grover joined KMH in 1991. Well known for his work in the field, Dr. Grover’s clinical interests include the primary prevention of cardiac disease, cardiac rehabilitation, dyslipidemia & heart failure and hypertension. In addition to being a staff cardiologist at KMH, Dr. Grover is a courtesy staff Cardiologist at Mississauga’s Credit Valley Hospital, Director of the International Heart Institute high risk clinic and Director of Cardiology of the Cleveland Clinic Canada. Prior to joining KMH, Dr. Grover served in a staff position in the Critical Care Department of the Chedoke-McMaster Hospital. Fluent in four languages, Dr. Grover is a frequent lecturer delivering approximately 50 lectures a year across Ontario on topics such as cardiac rehabilitation, dyslipidemia and hypertension. He is a member of the Canadian Medical Association and has contributed to more than a dozen research projects including research in the area of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Kawasaki Disease. An active member of his community, Dr. Grover sits on the Board of Directors of Victim Services of Peel and is a frequent radio and TV commentator on health awareness and disease management.
