Biography
Dr. Jonathan Bishinsky received his Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Surgery at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec in 1983. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal and was admitted as a Fellow into the Royal College of Physicians (Internal Medicine) in 1989. An experienced and patient focused professional, Dr. Bishinsky joined KMH in 2005. Areas of interest include clinical cardiology, noninvasive cardiac testing and echocardiography. Dr. Bishinsky is currently on active staff since 2004 at York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill where he works as a consultant in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine. Dr. Bishinsky has interest in clinical trials and has been an active member of the Research Ethics Board (REB) at Southlake Regional Hospital since 2008.
