Biography
Deepani received a BSc from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, an MSc in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Kansas, USA, and a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from Simon Fraser University, Canada
Research Interest
Finer details of the acid-catalysed hydrolysis of pyranosides using the isotopic quasi-racemate method, and the synthesis of natural sialoside analogues for the determination of enzymatic rate constants
