Biography
Kelly has been teaching since 1993. He began his teaching career instructing in a prison, followed by 15 years as a high school teacher and school counsellor. He has been a full time University Studies instructor at Lakeland College since 2008. As well, prior to joining the faculty full-time, he taught as a sessional instructor for Lakeland College and worked as a counsellor for a local clinic. He has presented at provincial, national and international conferences and was the former editor of the Saskatchewan School Counsellor Association’s professional journal. He also served as vice-president of the association in 2008. As well, he is a member of the Faculty Support Committee and is actively involved in Lakeland’s Competency Based Education Training (CBET) initiatives.
