Biography
Richard C. Buterbaugh became Laredo's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December 2012. He joined Laredo in June 2012 as Senior Vice President—Investor Relations. Mr. Buterbaugh has more than 35 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, planning and investor relations in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Laredo, he was Vice President—Investor Relations and Corporate Planning for Quicksilver Resources Inc. from March 2007 until June 2011, and held various financial positions at Kerr-McGee Corp. from November 1989 until its sale in August 2006, most recently serving as Vice President—Corporate Planning. Mr. Buterbaugh graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
