Biography
In teaching as in research, flirting and having fun with disciplinary boundaries is a game that Arnaud Anciaux loves. By love of the opposite as much as by heuristic interest. His initial training was thus built between the study of law, business administration and finally communication. He has drawn a taste for pluridisciplinarity. As well as the belief that this is a profitable way to research and understand complex issues. By studying contemporary transformations in journalism during his PhD, he feels the need to study several aspects simultaneously - most often being the subject of separate research. To do this, he gradually crosses economic approach, sociological study and discourse analysis to understand different dimensions of his research topic. As far as his research is concerned, it is in his teaching that he finds this game. And when he runs courses on the relationship between journalism, public communication and economics, it is immediately to emphasize the importance of institutions, actors as well as structures, stories and discourses. From these approaches, he derives the will to develop his future research according to two related themes and dynamics, the economy of communication and communication in the economy.
