Biography
Guillaume Pinson is interested in media culture in the XIX th century and its impact on literature and in social discourse. His research aims to analyze the first major narrative of information that gradually developed from the 1830s to the First World War, based on the observation that the expansion of journalistic production was accompanied by an abundant representation (fictional, essayistic, historiographical, etc.) of the new media culture. He is currently studying the establishment of a media Francophonie XIX e , based on the interaction between Europe and North America, and traffic imaginary - including the serial novel - between continents.
