Henri Assogba

Biography
Ask him to tell you about his career, and Henri Assogba will answer, smirking, that he has "a banal atypical career" bridge between professional life and university education. From his native Benin, Henri Assogba has often left. He who defines himself today as a "citizen of the world" has successively set his bags in Senegal, Egypt, France and now in Quebec. Already holding a master's degree in geography and spatial planning before entering a school of journalism, Henri Assogba "naturally" specialized in environment. And in the practice of his profession (more than seven years of journalistic practice), he has the impression that issues related to the environment are a poor relation in the treatment of the news. Hence a first need to empirically verify this impression and, secondly, to try to understand the reasons. The deepening of his research is concretized by obtaining a PhD in information sciences and communication in Lyon (France).
Research Interest
A regular researcher at the CRICIS research center and associate member of the Lyon Research Team in Information and Communication Sciences ( ÉLICO ), Henri Assogba is also part of the International Radio Research and Studies Group ( GRER ).
