Biography
Ibrahima Bocoum is an international development professor in the Department of Agri-Food Economics and Consumer Sciences of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. He obtained his doctorate in economics from the University Montpellier I (France). He is a regular member of the Center for Research in Environmental Economics, Agri-Food, Transport and Energy (CREATE) and the Agriculture, Territories and Development Research Group.
Research Interest
IIbrahima Bocoum interested in how different interventions can increase agricultural performance and how transformations in this sector affect the welfare of farmers and the general population (reduction of monetary poverty, improvement of food and nutritional indicators, etc.). Ibrahima Bocoum also working on social inequalities, in particular the consequences of income inequalities on the health of populations and the analysis of underlying psychological, social and economic phenomena. In a transversal way, my research involves statistical and econometric methods, and Ibrahima Bocoum increasingly interested in evaluation methods such as social life cycle analysis and experimental and quasi-experimental techniques for evaluating impacts.
