Biography

Mr. Paul J. McElligott serves as President of Ledcor Air Limited. Mr. McElligott has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Ledcor Resources & Transportation at Ledcor IP Holdings, Ltd. since September 12, 2011. Mr. McElligott serves as a Governor of the BC Business Council. Mr. McElligott joined Ledcor on September 12, 2011 and is responsible for managing and growing the Ledcor existing tug boat and barge and aviation businesses and wood fibre alternative energy initiatives. Mr. McElligott served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Timberwest Forest Corp. from January 22, 2001 to September 2011. Mr. McElligott served as Chief Executive of Couverdon Operations at TimberWest Forest Corp. from March 2009 to 2011. He has years of experience and success in the both the transportation and resource sectors. Mr. McElligott served as President and Chief Executive Officer of British Columbia's BC Rail Group of Companies since 1989. He has an extensive experience in BC's real estate, rail and intermodal transportation, telecommunications, and deep-sea port terminal sectors. Prior to BC Rail, he served as President of Voyageur Enterprises Ltd., North America's third largest inter-city bus company. He has been a Director of Coast Forest Products Association since April 14, 2011. Mr. McElligott served as an Executive Director of Timberwest Forest Corp., since June 23, 1997 until 2011. Mr. McElligott serves on the boards of the Council of Forest Industries, the Coast Forest and Lumber Association and the Canada-Japan Society.
