Fred Blaak

Biography

Fred has spent 25 years with Libro Credit Union, most recently in the role of EVP Risk & Corporate Services and Corporate Secretary. Prior to taking on his current leadership role, he held a senior role within the Libro finance team. Fred holds a Certified General Accountant designation and graduated with a BA from Western University. His successful completion of the Institute of Corporate Directors Program at the Rotman School of Business shows both his commitment to excellence in the boardroom and to being a more effective director. In the community, Fred is an avid supporter of Vanier Children's Services, a premier organization that is focused on improving children's mental health in the London region. Fred currently sits as the past chair of the Vanier Board of Directors.
