Biography
Jason Locklin is director of global government affairs for Alexion Pharma and a member of the Canadian management team. Alexion is an innovative biotech company that researches and develops treatments for ultra-rare, life threatening diseases. He has a strong interest in policy development and strategic sectors. Prior to joining Alexion, Jason helped lead the development of an aerospace cluster in Ontario as director of government, public & community relations at Bombardier Aerospace. Jason spent 13 years in the biopharmaceutical industry in communications, public policy and government relations roles with Sanofi Pasteur Limited. He helped found the Vaccine Industry Committee of BIOTECanada, and joined the board of Life Sciences Ontario in 2007. Jason has a masters journalism degree from Carleton University, and is accredited in public relations (APR) by the Canadian Public Relations Society.
