Colin Babiuk

Biography

Colin has over 25 years of experience as a public relations practitioner in the private and public sectors. His experience includes issues management, stakeholder relations, media relations, and marketing. Colin holds a diploma in Advertising and Public Relations Diploma Grant MacEwan University (1989). He earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations Management (2004) and completed the Master of Arts in Professional Communications at Royal Roads University, Victoria (2007). He has been a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) - Edmonton since 2001. Colin has served as a member of the communications committee, Programming Chair, and four years as the Accreditation Chair. Most recently he served as the Mentorship and Education Chair. Colin earned his Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation in 2004 and was admitted to the CPRS College of Fellows in 2012.
