Biography
Darka is owner and founding president of Bottom Line Productions, and has been involved in the arts and entertainment industry as a performer, volunteer, supporter and professional arts manager in Edmonton for over 20 years. Her client roster includes Broadway Across Canada; Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet; Catalyst Theatre; the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival; Theatre Alberta; Edmonton Opera; Brian Webb Dance Company; and the musical touring productions of Lion King, Chicago and Miss Saigon.... to name a few. Over the years, the scope of her small business has expanded beyond the city of Edmonton to include work throughout the province of Alberta and across Canada. In 2003 she opened an office in Calgary. Darka holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Alberta (1987); an Arts and Cultural Management Certificate from MacEwan (1989) and was the recipient of the 1998 Grant MacEwan College Distinguished Alumni Award.
