Biography
Shahram Manouchehri completed his baccalaureate studies in Economics and Political Science at Pahlavi (Shiraz) University of Iran. He earned a Master of Arts in Economics from Carleton University and a PhD in Economics from the University of Alberta. Prior to his arrival at MacEwan University, he held appointments at the University of Alberta and the University of Winnipeg. He has taught a variety of courses in Economics and is a recipient of MacEwan University’s Distinguished Instructor Award. His areas of specialization and scholarly activity are monetary policy, macroeconomic theory, econometrics, and applications of economic analysis to emerging economies
