Biography
Ian Henry is Senior Vice President, People at Maple Leaf Foods. In this capacity, Mr. Henry is responsible for leading the Company’s leadership development, people administration, labour relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and diversity and inclusion programs. Mr. Henry joined Maple Leaf in 2002 as Vice President, Labour Relations where he was responsible for leading the Company’s labour relations efforts for both the bakery and protein businesses. His role expanded in January 2011 to include Human Resources responsibility for Maple Leaf Foods’ Home Office organization. Prior to joining Maple Leaf, Mr. Henry held a variety of increasingly senior industrial and labour relations roles with recognized leaders in the grocery, publishing and broadcasting sectors. Mr. Henry holds a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies from University of Western Ontario and an Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
