Biography
David Van Vliet has 20 years of experience as a water resources engineer, most recently with AquaResource, which merged with Matrix in late 2011. David has experience in various areas relating to water resources, including watershed hydrology, groundwater and surface water interactions, hydrologic impact assessments, climate change, and information management. He was actively involved in the development of the water quantity framework relating to the Province of Ontario’s Clean Water Act. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in water resources engineering from the University of Guelph before going on to complete a Master of Applied Science degree in water resources from the University of Waterloo. He is based in Waterloo, Ontario.
