John Feick

Biography

 Rob Pockar has extensive experience as an environmental consultant in the oil and gas industry, including environmental liability assessment and remediation, water resources engineering, and environmental impact assessments to support project design and regulatory approval. Rob joined Matrix in 1993 and has grown with the company through a succession of more senior appointments and responsibilities. Rob has served as president and CEO of Matrix since 2008 and provides ongoing executive leadership and strategic vision to Matrix. He is currently on the board of directors of Oak Point Energy and was previously on the board of MindFuel (Science Alberta Foundation) for six years. He also coaches his sons’ hockey and soccer teams. Rob is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master of Science degree in earth science from the University of Waterloo.
