Biography
Liz Parkin is a professional agrologist with more than 20 years of experience consulting in the oil and gas industry. Since joining Matrix in 2000, she has been involved in numerous predevelopment projects and currently provides management and seniorlevel regulatory guidance on environmental assessments for in situ, oil sands, and federal and provincial pipeline projects. Liz was named a principal in 2008 and served on the Matrix board of directors from 2010 to 2013. As vice president of project services, she provides leadership to the Drafting, GIS, Environmental Data Services, Document Services, and Equipment teams, supporting the efficient delivery of projects to Matrix clients. In spring 2015, she took on the additional role of vice president of operations, terrestrial. Liz earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary and her Master of Science degree in environment and management from Royal Roads University in 2004.
