Biography
As a principal geologist, Blake Louden provides technical support to Matrix projects, including geological and hydrogeological assessment and interpretation and design of soil and groundwater remediation systems. He is senior vice president of assessment, reclamation, remediation, and monitoring for Alberta and British Columbia. Blake earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary, with a major in geology and a minor in geophysics. A principal geologist at Matrix, he has over 25 years of consulting, hydrogeology, and geology experience. From 1986 to 1992, Blake worked throughout South America and Russia assessing oil and gas reserves for lending institutions. Since joining Matrix in 1992, he has conducted more than 600 site assessments in the upstream oil and gas industry.
