Biography
Paul is passionate about continuously improving the business, particularly the areas of quality, safety and sustainability at Maxxam. He ensures Maxxam delivers on its quality promise and further contributes to our customers’ success through a strong safety program, safety culture and performance. Responsible nationally for the overall leadership and management of Maxxam’s Quality, EHS and Sustainability departments, Paul’s focus is to strengthen the culture and ensure the number of incidents continues to decline. Paul reports directly to the CEO. Prior to Maxxam, Paul was owner of Seatech Ltd, which he sold in 2005 to Maxxam – becoming the first Maxxam location in Atlantic Canada. Paul has a B.Sc. in Chemistry and a Chemical Technology Diploma from the University College of Cape Breton. He is Past President and a Director of the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA).
