Phil Heaton

Biography

Phil Heaton is the executive responsible for operational performance and business development for Maxxam’s Petroleum Line of Business.  Maxxam is Canada’s leading supplier of petroleum analytical services focused on upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. Phil is a Professional Chemist, P.Chem, registered in the province of Alberta.  Phil began his career as a chemist with Chemex Labs, the Western Canadian entity that would eventually evolve into Maxxam.  His career path included a series of operational and leadership roles with increasing responsibility including general management of various petroleum and environmental business units.   He is a respected Canadian professional within the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.  Phil has passion for leading diverse teams to achieve extraordinary results.
