Randy Leavitt

Biography

Randy is the executive responsible for the direction and performance of Maxxam’s Environmental Services and Speciality Services business. The Environmental Services business is Canada’s largest and leading analytical services company with a national network of laboratories and the broadest scope of services to assist the diverse needs of our customers. The Speciality Services business is a collection of highly technical, specialized businesses including several DNA testing services and Product Testing services. Randy began his career with Mann Testing Labs as a research scientist. Mann Testing evolved into Maxxam and Randy has grown with the company while managing laboratory operations, leading business development and customer service organizations across all of Maxxam lines of business, and directing a variety of turn-around, emerging and mature business units. Randy has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, is well published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented numerous scientific papers at venues around the world. Leveraging his technical background and considerable management experience, Randy leads a talented team of experts and associates to deliver quality analytical services to customers. His knowledge of complex regulatory environments coupled with his dedication to scientific excellence and customer service make him uniquely qualified to lead this business.
