Biography
Mr. Robert Hawthorne served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. from early 2000 to 2002. Mr. Hawthorne started with General Mills in Canada from 1972 to 1986 and also served as senior vice president in charge of sales, marketing, quality assurance and research and development. He served as the President of Pillsbury Brands Group and left in 1996 to run Select Comfort and to take Pillsbury Brands public. Mr. Hawthorne serves as External Independent Director at Maxxam Analytics, Inc. He also serves on the board of Minneapolis-based CNS, Inc. He served as Director at Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. Mr. Hawthorne received a business administration degree from Ryerson Business School in Toronto.
