Biography
Tony’s strategic focus is on creating innovative, customized food science and safety solutions to address the complex problems facing the food industry. Maxxam’s market leadership position is strengthened by Tony’s ability to anticipate customer needs and offer the most comprehensive scope of services to ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance for customers’ food operations. In this role, Tony oversees the national business development and laboratory personnel responsible for Maxxam’s Microbiology, Food Chemistry and Food Residue services. Tony originally joined Maxxam in the Animal DNA group and made the transition to Maxxam’s Food division via his role as a 6-Sigma Blackbelt supporting the Food division’s continuous improvement objectives. Prior to Maxxam, Tony worked as a Forensic Analyst at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto and as a Research Associate at the University of Guelph.
