Biography
Mr. Joel Levesque has been Vice-President and General Counsel at Mcdonald's Restaurants Of Canada Limited since 2012 and 2005 respectively. Mr. Levesque joined Mcdonald's Restaurants in 1998 first Employment Counsel. In 2002, he was given the added responsibility of developing, implementing and managing McDonald's privacy program. He took on the added responsibility for overseeing the National Franchising Department in 2007 in his capacity as Senior Director of Franchising and General Counsel. He was promoted to Legal Officer in 2011. Upon graduation, he worked in sales management positions in the soft drink industry. Upon graduation, he worked in private practice as a labour and employment lawyer. His outstanding contributions to the Canadian System have been recognized many times over the years, including winning the President's Award in 2002. Mr. Levesque is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Western Ontario. He also attended the University Of Western Ontario Law School.
