Biography
Dr Dawson is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University and an attending physician at the MUHC. He is Chief of Service of a clinical teaching unit. He is the Chair of the Physicianship Coordinating Committee which manages multiple undergraduate courses on professionalism, communication and healing across the four years of medical school including the Osler Program. He has specific interests in medical education and curricular development (doctor-patient relationship, physical diagnosis, simulation center communication skills training and spirituality in medicine). His other activities include pre-operative assessment and international health.
