Biography
Dr Hoffer is a Professor of Medicine at McGill University. He is an attending physician in the Divisions of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and co-attending physician on the Nutritional Support Service at the Jewish General Hospital. Dr Hoffer dedicates most of his time to research at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research. His current funding from the Canadian Institute of Health Research supports his studies on human protein and amino acid metabolism and homocysteine metabolism in chronic renal failure.
