Biography
Dr Dasgupta is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University and an attending physician at the MUHC. She is a general internist and clinical epidemiologist. Her specific area of interest is the prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes or other conditions of insulin resistance. Dr Dasgupta is presently conducting a CIHR-funded trial concerning the use of supervised exercise in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
