Biography
Dr Daskalopoulou is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University and an attending physician at the MUHC. She completed her medical training at the University of Athens Medical School, her MSc in vascular technology and medicine at the Imperial College in London, UK, and her PhD at the University of Athens. Dr Daskalopoulou is setting up the General Internal Medicine Clinical Research Unit at the Montreal General Hospital, where she will conduct vascular research projects, including image analysis of atherosclerosis plaque composition using non-invasive technology and assessment of arterial stiffness in patients with different cardiovascular risk factors.
