Growth and growth disorders; neuroendocrine mechanisms governing growth hormone secretion with a focus on hypothalamic somatostatin and growth hormone-releasing hormone; role of ghrelin in regulation of appetite and growth hormone, and identifying the brain pathways through which ghrelin acts.
