Dr.Markus is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at McGill University, Montreal, where he have been working since 2007.He received his PhD from the European University Institute (EUI), Florence.

firm dynamics, entrepreneurship, growth theory, structural change, the macroeconomics of labor markets, optimal taxation and inequality.
